PRIVACY NOTICE AND CONSENT FOR THE PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Introduction
We (“PwC”, “us”, or “our”) are strongly committed to protecting personal data. When collecting and using personal data, our policy is to be transparent about why and how we process personal data.
Security
Security of all the data we hold is a very important aspect. We act according to internationally recognised security standards and our information security management system relating to client confidential data is independently certified as complying with the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001: 2013. We have a framework of policies, procedures and training in place covering data protection, confidentiality and security and regularly review the appropriateness of the measures we have in place to keep the data we hold secure.
Our processing activities
Personal data communicated by you in the registration form (name, surname, workplace, e-mail) will be used for the following purposes:organising the event you signed up for, including managing the contact lists;sending invitations to the event; requesting feedback on the event; performing statistical analytics.
Legal basis for processing
We process personal data based on your consent. Granting consent is voluntary, however without your consent we will not be able to send you the invitation to event.
Data retention
Personal data communicated by you in the registration form shall be processed for as long as is considered necessary for the purpose mentioned above, for a period not exceeding one year from the event date.
When and how we share personal data and locations of processing
We will only share personal data with others when we are legally permitted to do so. When we share data with others, we put contractual arrangements and security mechanisms in place to protect the data and to comply with our data protection, confidentiality and security standards. Individual rights and how to exercise them
You have the right to request access to your personal data, as well as update, erasure of the data or right to restrict the processing.
