Government Decision no. 1447/2022 (GD no. 1447/2022) established that, as of 1 January 2023, the national minimum gross basic salary will be RON 3,000 per month (the current amount is RON 2,550).
Thus, the current minimum wage will be increased by RON 450.
The gross amount of RON 3,000 per month does not include increments and other additions, and it is established for a normal working schedule averaging 165.333 hours per month, thus representing RON 18.145 per hour.
