Ana Maria Butucaru

Ana-Maria leads the PwC Financial Services Assurance practice in Romania and the CEE Broader Assurance Services practice for our financial services clients. With over 18 years of auditing and consulting experience for financial institutions, she is a subject matter expert in IFRS and in European risk and regulatory requirements and the ESG initiative driver for financial institutions.

Andreea Topuzu

Andreea is currently a Senior Manager driving the ESG and Sustainable Finance practice for PwC Romania. Andreea is a subject matter expert in ESG topics agenda for Financial Institutions in PwC Romania. She worked on various ESG projects and proposals for FS clients dealing with topics such as EU Taxonomy implementation, ESG Reporting, ESG webinar series, assurance on ESG reporting, ESG trainings to board and management of Financial Institutions, development of ESG e-learnings.

Ovidiu Bold

Ovidiu Bold is a Partner with D&B David si Baias (the connected law firm of PwC Romania) leading the Financial Services team of D&B, which he joined in October 2008. He has over 14 years of experience as a financial services lawyer, being involved in various landmark projects, such as the first authorization process of an e-money institution into a non-banking financial institution or the negotiation for the entry into the Romanian market of an EU-based credit institution, via an extensive cooperation agreement with a top telecom services provider.

Monica Ardelean

Monica is currently a Senior Manager specialized in corporate taxation for the Financial Services industry. She has been part of PwC’s corporate tax practice since 2012, having extensive experience in the tax consultancy field. Her experience includes advice on general domestic and international taxation for clients in banking and capital markets sectors, tax structuring projects, due diligence projects, tax reviews, tax audits and assistance during tax inspection, as well as transfer pricing projects, being specialized in financial services industry.

Oana Stanciu

Valentina Mănăsescu is a Senior Manager in Risk Assurance Services team of PwC Romania. She has extensive knowledge and previous working experience in the banking system. Valentina has more than 15 years of professional experience in banking, both at local and international level. She is considered an expert in the implementation and assessment of regulatory requirements, mainly related to governance, risk and internal control systems.
