Barbora Toporčáková is a coach and tutor in PwC.
Her professional training in both strategic human resources management and psychology, and 20 years of practical experience in HC management and consultancy positions provide solid background for designing and tutoring various courses on people development, strategy, communication, negotiation, influencing, facilitation, and coaching.
She has been with PwC for the past 8 years, designing and delivering training and coaching to internal and external clients across the CEE region.
Oana leads PwC People & Organisation practice in Romania. She has over twelve years of experience in HR and organisational development consulting in CEE & CIS countries. Oana has experience in HR strategy, diagnosing and developing compensation and benefits schemes, evaluating the effectiveness of the HR function and processes, as well as developing and implementing related communication and change management plans.
She has been involved in multiple reward consulting assignments for organisations in various industries (such as Energy, Financial services, Telecom, Pharmaceuticals and FMCG), as well as public sector. Moreover, she has coordinated numerous editions of PayWell – Salary and benefits survey and Saratoga – Human Capital Benchmarking Survey in Romania and other CEE countries.
Oana has Law and Public Administration degrees and she is a graduate of the World@Work – Global Remuneration Practitioner program. Oana also completed the global Saratoga – HR measurement and benchmarking accreditation program.
Currently acting as Training Manager in PwC, Raul is involved in delivering various soft skills learning programs, designing workshops and facilitating them, as well as providing strategic advice on learning and development, to internal PwC stakeholders as well as PwC clients, for both Romania and other EU territories.
In the past 7 years, Raul has built his experience in HR with focus on learning and organizational development. Coordinator for management development programs & other HR related projects, he also has direct management experience. Strong project management & prior sales expertise contribute to his business awareness mindset.
Raul believes strongly in experiential learning, always delivering practical tools and concepts that are applicable in daily business. He believes that real life examples and participants' experiences are key elements in building awareness and commitment towards adopting new behaviours.
There are no formal educational prerequisites. If your educational background is not in English, you must demonstrate a high standard of verbal and written English to be admitted to a CIPD Programme. You may be required to complete a pre-assessment to demonstrate your English language competence.
In order to determine the most suitable level for you, we will conduct a short initial diagnostic assessment (on the phone or face to face) and then recommend the level that would be best suited to your education, experience and goals.
You may be eligible for exemptions, credit transfers or recognition of prior learning if you have studied similar modules previously. Contact us with evidence of your certificate of achievement and we will discuss eligibility on a case-by-case basis
Typically, you can complete the training for the certificate programme in 6-12 months and the diploma in 6-15 months. There are several programme formats to suit your schedule. It will take approximately 3 months after you submit your final assessment to receive your certificate from CIPD.
There are no exams in CIPD. You will be assessed on an on-going basis on completion of:
For every assessment, you will either receive a Pass or Refer. If you receive a Refer on your first submission, you will have an opportunity to submit again. If you receive a Refer on your second submission as well, you will be required to redo the module. You must pass all modules in order to successfully complete the qualification.

In order to receive your CIPD Certificate, you will need to enroll as a Student Member with CIPD prior to enrolling for the training programme. It is your responsibility to ensure that you have paid your membership fees and registered as a student with CIPD. Upon successful completion of the programme, you will be eligible to apply for Associate Membership and use the designation Associate CIPD next to your name. You can progress to Chartered or Fellow membership based on your experience.
If you are studying the CIPD qualification, you are required to join as a Student member at the start of your qualification. To join, you will need to pay a subscription fee of approximately GBP 130. To maintain your membership, you will need to pay membership fees to CIPD annually.
