The Essential Eight are PwC’s shortlist of technologies that matter most for business across every industry over the next three to five years and these are: Artificial intelligence, Augmented reality, Blockchain, Drones, Internet of Things, Robotics, Virtual reality and 3D printing. This training will introduce participants to these emerging technologies in high level, their purpose and functionality as well as relevant industry case studies.

Whilst the common themes of change management remain similar, there are some unique aspects that need to be considered for advanced tech based digital transformation. This training will focus on change management for digital transformation (strategy, adoption and implementation).

In a world that is becoming ever more data-driven the ability to communicate data effectively is key. A lot of the time we use data visualisation to communicate data and in this session we will cover four principles (Context, Visual Display, Colour and Size, and Noise) that can make a striking difference to the way we communicate data. Once we have discovered and become familiar with the practical tips from the Storytelling with Data session we can now look at the importance of a story and how we can apply this thinking to data. In this session we will build a cohesive message from data that will make it clear what insights we (as analysts) have found and how that affects our stakeholders.

This is a hands-on introduction to UiPath, including high level principles, applications and end user experience (supported by a case study). In this training you will discover what a "robot" is and what he can do for your daily work and learn how you can identify what activity can be "delegated" to a robot.

This training is designed to provide a comprehensive introduction to Alteryx, a powerful data analytics tool that makes it easy to clean, transform and analyze your data. By the end of the training session, the professionals in internal audit should be able to understand when to use specific tools within Alteryx and be aware of the importance of data manipulation & cleaning and how this can be used when delivering insights for stakeholders.

This training session aims to provide to the participants the knowledge of basic concepts of data visualisation, as well as introducing the tool Microsoft Power BI. This workshop will allow the participants to become aware of the importance of Data Visualisation, and its role in delivering insights to stakeholders, as well as understanding when to use a certain chart type, including its advantages and drawbacks and what are the possibilities that PowerBI Desktop give to them in creating rich, interactive reports with visual analytics.
