Mihai Anița to take over leadership of PwC Romania Assurance Practice as of 1 July 2021

PwC Romania announces that, as of 1 July 2021, Mihai Anița will take over the management of the PwC Romania Assurance Practice from Kenneth Spiteri, who will continue as a Partner within the company and will also lead the transformation projects related to PwC Romania's human resources strategy.

Mihai joined PwC in 1995 and has developed significant experience from delivering diverse projects across various industries, including the implementation of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). He is Assurance Partner and Leader of integrated services for clients in the Retail & Consumer sector within PwC Romania. Mihai is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA UK) and the Chamber of Financial Auditors of Romania (CAFR). He has a degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University Politehnica Bucharest.

This year marks 30 years of PwC Romania activity on the local market since it became the first large professional services company registered in Romania after 1989.
