Mircea Bozga

Mircea leads the PwC Risk Assurance practice in Romania which covers internal audit, business controls and process assurance, technology assurance as well as risk & regulatory. He is a PwC partner with significant business experience both in Romania as well as in several other countries in Europe and Asia.

Selected relevant experience:

Mircea managed or acted as engagement leader on both internal audit and related consulting engagements such as the Quality Assessment of the Internal Audit function,  reports on specific controls, as well as fully outsourced internal audit engagements, auditing procurement process, SoX controls testing and internal control optimisation, as well as a significant number of co-sourced engagements in various industries.

In addition, Mircea has a significant experience as audit partner, with clients covering both non- financial services as well financial services industries. He has also been actively involved in the development of the Romanian auditing profession and acted as a Board member of the Romanian Chamber of Auditors as well as the ACCA UK representative at the European Federation of Accountants.
