Kenneth joined PwC in Malta back in 1992 and moved to the Bucharest office in 1998. Since July 2008 he has been Partner within our assurance department. He is a member of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants – UK (ACCA) and a member of the Romanian Chamber of Financial Auditors. He has gained extensive experience in the audit of IFRS financial statements prepared by both state-owned entities, local private businesses and subsidiaries of multinational companies, operating in differing industries. He was also in charge of our IFRS technical function in Romania, and thereby responsible for the delivery of IFRS training and dealing with IFRS technical consultations in our firm.
He has acted as the engagement leader during the audits of a number of key clients in Romania, the likes of GlaxoSmithKline, Sanofi Aventis, A&D Pharma, Mediplus Exim, Sensiblu, Ozone Laboratories, Romastru, Bayer, Europharm, Ford, Toyota, Nexans, Coca-Cola HBC, SABMiller, Philip Morris, Kraft, Dupont, Honeywell and others, as well as for local private businesses ranging from large ones such as A&D Pharma to a sizeable list of SMEs. During his earlier years in Romania he also worked extensively on the audit of many state-owned entities, such as Sidex, Oltchim and CFR Marfa, following which he has been involved in the auditing of newly acquired state entities such as Distrigaz Nord, Electrica Moldova and more recently Daewoo, helping these entities through this important transition period.
Since 2014 he has also been leading the Assurance practice, managing a team of over 350 professionals.
