George Ureche is Transactions Services Partner and Leader of the M&A practice with PwC Romania, providing and coordinating transaction support over the years for very large national and multinational companies in various sectors such as: media, IT, retail, transportation and logistics, telecom, financial services, tourism, agriculture, energy, specialized manufacturing and pharma.
His experience also includes roles as General Manager and Business Development Director with responsibilities in corporate finance, project management, strategy and operations and project finance for media companies.
He has a degree in Mathematics, holds a doctorate from the "School of Advanced Studies of the Romanian Academy", as well as an MBA degree within the Romanian-Canadian Executive MBA Program.
