Introduction

We (“PwC”, “us”, or “our”) are strongly committed to protecting personal data. When collecting and using personal data, our policy is to be transparent about why and how we process personal data.

Security

Security of all the data we hold is a very important aspect. We act according to internationally recognised security standards and our information security management system relating to client confidential data is independently certified as complying with the requirements of ISO/IEC 27001: 2013. We have a framework of policies, procedures and training in place covering data protection, confidentiality and security and regularly review the appropriateness of the measures we have in place to keep the data we hold secure.

Collection​ ​of​ ​personal​ data

We collect personal data communicated by you as part of the registration process on our website. The information we process include standard information regarding your education, employment history, other work-related information and any other information provided to us on your CV.
You are asked not to provide us with any information regarding the so called “special category of personal data”, including race, ethnic origin, politics, religion, trade union membership, genetics, biometrics (where used for ID purposes), health, sex life or sexual orientation.

Our processing activities

Personal data communicated by you will be used for the following purposes:

• To evaluate you for open projects that may match your experience, technical skills and other preferences; and
• To communicate with you as necessary in connection with a potential collaboration with you.

Legal basis for processing

We hold and processes your personal data in order to take steps at your request prior to entering into a contract with you. We may also process some of your data in pursuit of our legitimate interest in recruiting you as a freelancer candidate.

Data retention

Personal data communicated by you shall be processed for as long as is considered necessary for the purposes mentioned above.

When and how we share personal data and locations of processing

We will only share personal data with others when we are legally permitted to do so. When we share data with others, we put contractual arrangements and security mechanisms in place to protect the data and to comply with our data protection, confidentiality and security standards.
