  • Administering and managing our website and systems and applications,
  • Complying with any legal requirement or requirements of a professional body of which we are members. 

Legal basis for processing

The processing of personal data takes place in order to perform a contract to which the data subject (or his/her employer to the benefit of data subject) is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract, as well as on the basis of our legitimate business interests as a data controller. Our legitimate business interest is related to direct marketing of our services or providing information which we think will be of interest to recipients, as well as to maintain our Learning Platform and security management of the platform.

Data retention

Should you use the PwC’s Academy Learning Platform for the purpose of training, your personal data will be retained on that platform.

We retain the personal data processed by us for as long as is considered necessary for the purpose for which it was collected (including as required by applicable law and regulation). If the PwC’s Academy Learning Platform is used, that period is equivalent with the period of having an account on the platform.
