How does the E-Invoicing Tool work?

  • The PwC e-Invoicing Tool is a custom software application that can automatically generate the XML file, with the content and structure prescribed by the tax authority, based on invoicing data exported from your system. ERP.
  • After generating the XML file, the PwC e-Invoicing Tool automatically communicates with the tax authority's system to provide the necessary data to receive and store the tax authority's response (a confirmation message and a unique ID for each reported invoice).
  • The application will keep track of any connection issues and outages in the tax authority’s system when data transmission is not possible and retry the reporting once the issue is resolved.
  • PwC’s developers may tailor the application to your needs and adapt it to source invoice data exported from your ERP or invoicing system.

 

Implementing the PwC e-Invoicing solution involves more than extracting data from the ERP system and sending it in the required format (e.g. .xml), with a number of preparatory steps designed to ensure that the company is ready to submit an accurate and complete electronic invoice.
